Sikh Swords — Personalized with Sacred Inscriptions
In Sikh culture, a sword is not worn for display. It is worn as a statement – of bravery, of responsibility, of the wish to stand between innocent and injury. Every blade in this collection is designed with that weight in mind.
Standard laser carved on each blade, the Khanda / Adi Shakti sign represents the balance of spiritual understanding and worldly responsibilities. The double-edged Khanda at its centre is a symbol of celestial understanding. The two Kirpans on either side are symbolic of the dual energies that need to be in balance Miri and Piri, the temporal and the spiritual.
Beyond the insignia, these swords can be carved with sacred Gurmukhi phrases of your choosing, words that have carried the Sikh faith for ages, now forever imprinted into the steel you wield.
Blade Inscriptions & Etching
On request, sacred Gurmukhi phrases can be electro-chemically etched onto the stainless steel blade of your sword. The Khanda / Adi Shakti sign is laser engraved on each blade as standard - reflecting the balance between Miri and Piri, the temporal and the spiritual. Ikongkar Satgur Prasad - ‘By the grace of the One Creator Lord, I live, breathe and prosper in my life.' A reminder that all breath, every motion, comes from the divine.
Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh - 'The Khalsa is the One to whom all wins belong.' Meaning of Nucleus: I am the Divine, so my qualities and hence my deeds.
Degh Tegh Fateh - 'Through service, defending others and preserving honor by His grace do I claim victory.' The sword and the langar — protection and nourishment — together.
Ang Sang Waheguru - 'With every breath I take, do I feel your in-dwelling presence, Oh Creator Lord.' Carried on the blade, felt in every movement.
Jo Boleh So Nihal, Sat Siri Akal - 'Those who answer the call of time and space with courage and grace, shall be fulfilled and blessed, by the Eternal and Formless Lord.'

Materials
All the swords in this series are made from materials that have been chosen for their quality, durability and occasion.
Damascus Steel - Layered steel, hand forged with a unique pattern on the blade. Popular for its craftsmanship and as a collector's item. Your source for heritage & handmade products.
Stainless Steel - Corrosion resistant, little maintenance. Used on ceremonial and entry-level swords for stable, long-term performance with no maintenance required.
High Carbon Steel - Takes a very good edge. Good for traditional type swords and functioning blades. Must be oiled regularly to prevent surface rust.
Natural Hardwoods (Cocobolo, Amboyna Burl) - Dense, unusual grain for quality handles and scabbards. Long-lasting and visually unique – no two are the same.
Bone, Antler & Stag - Materials with a traditional, tactile feel, used on heritage-style sword pieces.
Precious Metal Accents - For the more high-end artisan items, you will find sterling silver fittings, 24K gold inlay and jewelled embellishments.

Delivery
Swords that are in stock ship within 5 business days of your purchase being placed. If you prefer blade etching, an additional day of preparation may be required.
USA orders ship by Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery generally), unless you choose FedEx or UPS, and all of which you choose at checkout.
For International orders we ship usually with DHL Express, but we may ship with another carrier if you choose. We ship worldwide and get great prices through DHL that we pass on to you. Canada - the next day. UK - 2 days. Most other locations 3-5 business days.
