1. Black G10 Kirpan Ultra-Durable Fiberglass Laminate

The Kirpan is one of the Five Kakaars, the five sacred articles of faith worn by Sikhs. It is not carried as a weapon. It is carried as a promise, a daily commitment to courage, to protection of the innocent, and to living with integrity and righteousness. The G10 Kirpan is built to honor that commitment.

Black G10 is an ultra-durable, high-pressure fiberglass laminate, a man-made composite material produced by layering fiberglass sheets under heat and pressure with industrial resin. The result is a dense, non-porous structure that is moisture-resistant and dimensionally stable. It does not warp, swell, or degrade with daily use, making this highest quality Kirpan one of the most practical choices for long-term daily carry.

Strap and Pouch

Each Kirpan comes with one perfectly fitted Kirpan strap in 2 to 3 color choices. Black and gray adjustable length straps have a black metal buckle. White and gray adjustable length straps have a white plastic buckle. Navy blue and gray adjustable length straps have a black metal buckle. Adjustable length straps at maximum length are the same as non-adjustable straps, available in black and gray or white and gray. A gold embroidered zipper pouch is also included. These Kirpans are sharp. We wonder why you would bother to carry a Sikh knife that is not?

2. Key Features

  • Ultra-durable G10 fiberglass laminate body: Lightweight, moisture-resistant, and built to hold its shape through years of daily carry.

  • Sharp stainless steel blade: Ready to carry from day one. A Kirpan that cannot function is not a Kirpan.

  • Compact Kirpan for daily wear: The Compact size (3 inch blade) is ideal for professional settings, smaller frames, and those new to daily carry.

  • Perfectly fitted strap included: 2 to 3 color choices, adjustable and non-adjustable options available.

  • Gold embroidered zipper pouch included: With every size, every order.

  • Laser engraving available: Add $95 for exceptional artwork on the metal fittings.

  • Sacred Gurmukhi blade etching available: Select from the third drop-down menu on the product page.

3. The Ekongkar Symbol on the Scabbard

Every G10 Kirpan laser engraving includes a stylized Ekongkar symbol on the tip of the scabbard. Ekongkar, meaning 'One Creator of all creation', is the opening symbol of the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the eternal Sikh scripture. It is the foundational declaration of the Sikh faith: that all of existence flows from one divine source, without beginning or end.

To carry this symbol on your Kirpan is to carry that declaration on your person. Every time the scabbard tip is seen, every time the Kirpan is drawn from its sheath in ceremony, the Ekongkar is present. It is not decoration. It is devotion.

4. Laser Engraving for Beauty and Sophistication

For $95, exceptional artwork is laser engraved on both sides of the metal fittings of your Kirpan. Patterned after much more expensive hand engraving, this laser engraving adds elements of beauty, sophistication, and the intricate artistry of nature's forms that have not previously been available at this price point.

Whether you are looking for a Sikh Kirpan for sale as a daily carry piece or a ceremonial gift, the laser engraving transforms it from a functional blade into an object of genuine beauty. The craftsmanship is visible. The intention behind it is felt.

5. Sacred Gurmukhi Inscriptions on the Blade

Sacred, inspiring Gurmukhi phrases can be electro-chemically etched onto the stainless steel blade of your Kirpan. These are permanent, precise inscriptions, faithful to the scripture they carry. Select from the third drop-down menu on the product page. Custom wording and design work for your blade is also available.

  • Ikongkar Satgur Prasad - 'By the grace of the One Creator Lord, do I live, breathe and flourish in my life.' A reminder that every breath, every step, comes from the divine.

  • Ang Sang Waheguru - 'With every breath I take, do I feel your in-dwelling presence, Oh Creator Lord.' Carried on the blade, felt in every movement.

  • Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh - 'The Khalsa belongs to the One God, to whom all victories belong.' Nucleus meaning: I am the Divine, so my attributes and so my actions.

  • Degh Tegh Fateh - 'Through service, defending others and preserving honor by His grace do I claim victory.' The sword and the langar, protection and nourishment, together.

  • Jo Boleh So Nihal, Sat Siri Akal - 'Those who answer the call of time and space with courage and grace, shall be fulfilled and blessed, by the Eternal and Formless Lord.'

It is also possible to create any wording and/or design work for your Kirpan blade. Contact us with your proposed inscription.

6. The Protective Energy of Stainless Steel

Steel's energies are highly projective. Having, wearing or keeping this highest quality Kirpan close at hand offers:

  • Strength: The capacity to stand firm in the face of difficulty, to hold your ground when it matters most.

  • Courage: The will to act rightly even when the cost is high. Steel does not waver. Neither should the one who carries it.

  • Grit: The quiet, steady endurance that carries a Sikh through the ordinary demands of daily life with the same presence as the extraordinary ones.

  • Determination: The focused, forward movement of a person who knows their purpose and will not be turned from it.

If you are looking to protect yourself from aggressive advances or any forms of extreme negativity, stainless steel is a good option. It can be like donning spiritual armor for the day ahead.
