Leather covered wooden scabbard. Hand engraved lead free pewter fittings (handle, tip and throat of scabbard) engraved by Tim Adlam from Wisconsin, USA. Images of 10th Sikh Master Guru Gobind Singh, Ikongkar, (see those images here ) a lion and a passage from Deh Heshiva (Sikh hymn) all electro-chemically etched onto both sides of scabbard throat and tip.
Ikongkar Satgur Prasad is etched on blade in Gurmukhi script and means ' By the grace of the one Creator Lord - do I live, breathe and flourish in my life'.
